Free, for good
Unlimited songs with their chords, every draft kept, set lists, the stage view, printing and PDFs, and recordings on three songs.
Pro
For performing and recording: recordings on every song, versions with proof of authorship, songs sent to your recording software, timed sets, a second screen, MIDI, splits and release details.
Studio
For finishing and releasing: masters and cover art checked for release, recordings split into their parts, whole sessions brought in, and co-writing live.
Producer
For producing other artists: a book for each artist, mixes sent for approval, sessions, credits and invoices, and every mix kept in order.

Ways to pay less
- Try everything firstEvery plan, free for 30 days, from Settings in the app. No card, and afterwards Palimpsest simply goes back to Free.
- Founding members: 40% offThe first 500 buyers pay 40% less for as long as they stay: Pro is €17.40 a year instead of €29.
- Students and teachers: half priceWrite to hello@palimpsestmusic.com from your school, college or university address, or with proof that you study or teach, and you'll get a code for half price.
- Moving up costs only the differenceGoing from Pro to Studio or Producer, you pay only the difference for the time you have left.
If you stop paying
You keep what you had
Your songs are always yours, whatever you pay. If a yearly plan ends, the paid tools keep working in the version you have; new features need a renewal. Pay once, and it's yours for good, with three years of new features included. A monthly plan stops at the end of the month you've paid for, and Palimpsest goes back to Free with nothing lost.
Do I need an account?
No. You get a licence key by email straight after you buy, and you paste it into Settings. It's checked on your own computer; nothing is sent anywhere.
Can I use it on more than one computer?
Yes. Your key works on all your own computers and in the web version.
Who sells it?
Palimpsest is sold through Paddle, which takes the payment, charges the right VAT for your country and sends the receipt. See the terms of sale.
Can I get my money back?
Yes, within 14 days of buying, without giving a reason. Write to hello@palimpsestmusic.com.
